The conference themes are liveable cities, environmentally conscious, energy efficient buildings, architectural innovation - renewal and preservation of existing buildings and other related topics. In addition to the scientific programme, social programmes will also be offered.
The special themes at the conference are: Extreme events in Built Environment, Critical Infrastructures FM and Heritage Building Management. Included are changing environment of FM, effective use of resources, results of FM operations and meeting organisational and human needs.
The CIB Meetings Database contains thousands CIB and non-CIB related meetings of potential importance to Building and Construction worldwide. Per meeting - daily updated - information is given on a meeting's date, location, organisers, sponsors and contacts. If available links are provides to a designated conference website and/or downloadable conference brochures/flyers.

- Pre selected data: a listing of forthcoming open and international CIB and CIB Co-sponsored Conferences ordered per (ascending) meeting date
- Go to database: via a search page that allows for a search amongst all registered (both past and future and also both CIB and non-CIB related) thousands of meetings, on a meeting's:
- location (region/country/city)
- (name/title of the) event
- (name of the) organiser
- type of meeting: for future meetings only: selection options:
. CIB meetings only, inlucing both CIB commission meetings (in
principle for members only) and open CIB events (conferences etc.)
